Diversity of Mammals - file for printing
$ 11.95
Children will love exploring the wide variety of mammals with this set. It has 48 cards with high-quality color photos that show representatives from the lineages of mammals. Each animal has a separate text card that tells the classification, actual size, habitat, feeding, and other information. The set includes monotremes, marsupials, and major lineages of eutherians, the placental mammals. Children can use these cards to learn mammal orders, refine their observational skills, and as inspiration for further research. There are many comparisons to be made. The background information for the teacher includes suggestions for cards’ use, mammal phylogenies, text for header cards for sorting by lineage, and a list of resources for further learning.
