Major Branches of the Plant Kingdom (formerly Phyla of the Plant Kingdom) has been revised in 2022 to conform with botanists’ recent classification changes. The new edition gives major lineages of the plant kingdom, including bryophytes, lycophytes, the fern clade, and seed plants. This classification is the family-tree (phylogenetic) one that botanists currently use. This 40-card set shows the features of each plant lineage clearly. It is especially useful for illustrating plants that are hard to find as living specimens. For each photo card, there is a text card that gives the lineages of the plant and other information. The cards are quarter-page size. Useful for elementary and secondary levels, this set comes with four pages of background information and a tree-of-life diagram for the plant kingdom. 

Printing information: 

• 10 letter-size pages of color photo printing on cardstock or heavy photo paper
• 10 letter-size pages of black and white text; print on cardstock
• 4 pages of text for the background information and phylogeny of the plant kingdom chart; print on 20-24 lb paper, letter-size. 
• Cut the cardstock pages into quarters, 4.25 X 5.5 inches.
