What Flower Is Growing Here? - file for printing

$ 9.95

This set brings an engaging challenge to children and fun to botany studies. After children have worked with this set, they will be more skilled observers of flowering plants, and they will have a better understanding of buds and flowers. First, they see a detailed close-up photo of a bud, and then they try to match it to the flower that will bloom from the bud. There are 16 bud cards and 16 flower cards plus 16 text cards that explain more about the bud and flower and give the lineages of the species. The set includes lesson suggestions for teachers and resources for further study.

What Flower Is Growing Here? is available as a digital download that you print for yourself. It requires 12 letter-size sheets of cardstock or heavy photo paper for the cards and four pages of plain paper for the teacher information. After they are printed, you will cut the sheets in quarters to make 4.25 X 5.5 inch cards.
